How can designers create a space for collaborative imagination of alternative futures?

In-depth research to understand better the intersection between participatory and speculative design and the challenges associated with this participatory turn + a critical toolkit to support designers in combining these two approaches by providing a set of questions for reflection about the process. The research can be accessed here and in the project website.

At the moment I’m sourcing speculative design projects with a participatory structure,  to create a database of these intersecting fields and understand the particularities of integrating participatory models withing speculative design.
