Pedro Gil Farias Multidisciplinary artist, designer and urban researcher working between the virtual and built environments.

Through fieldwork, archives, and digital technologies, I collect fragments of the urban fabric that are later remixed into installations, workshops, audiovisual works, and visual compositions. Making visible the hidden rules, power structures, and everyday narratives that shape contemporary urban environments.

I’m currently based in Paredes, Portugal. I’m one half of the artist duo WHAT A MESS, a former member of Mesh Print Club, occasionally making print work under the name (de) and a part-time design researcher at Humankind (agency for urban change). 

My work has been presented at Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam, Milan Machinima Festival, Zagreb Contemporary Art Museum (MSU), WIP Festival in Cyprus, V2_ Lab for the Unstable Media and Art Rotterdam 2025
